1.85cubic yards

Straight geometry: length × width × depth, converted to cubic yards. It tells you the volume of the hole or the bed — the yard tells you what fills it best.

Mulch, stone, sand and topsoil all sell by the yard, and the hardest part of ordering is knowing how many you need. Measure the bed, put the numbers in, and bring the answer to the counter.

Not sure how deep to go, or which stone belongs there? Call the yard on (330) 495-8617, ext. 1 — and ask for current pricing while you are on.

The record

Drag the seam.
That is the same drive.

One property, one drive: the old paver apron over the culvert came out, the base went in, and the concrete went down. Nothing here is staged and nothing is a stand-in for another job.

The culvert apron

The old paver drive apron before the work, cracked and settled over an exposed culvert pipe, with a dry-laid stone headwall alongside. The finished concrete drive apron poured over the culvert, with the pipe end and the dry-laid stone headwall left in place and creeping phlox in bloom alongside. BEFORE AFTER

The same culvert pipe, the same dry-laid stone headwall, the same lamp post and the same creeping phlox — the camera moved a few feet.

The drive, mid-job and finished

The driveway during the pour, with wire mesh reinforcement laid out over the base and a wheelbarrow standing by at the road edge.
During the pour
The finished concrete driveway and apron in front of a brown two-story home, broom-swept and cured, meeting the road under a clouded sky.
Finished

Wire mesh down and the forms set on the left; broom-swept and cured on the right. Same house, same road, same fence.

A lakeside slope, cleared

A long pile of cut brush and downed limbs banked across a wooded slope before clearing.
Before clearing
The same wooded slope after clearing, opened up and tracked over with bare graded soil under the standing trees.
After clearing
